Circolo Amici del Fiume, in cooperation with the Italian Canoe Federation (FICK), announced the TKCM – DRAGON BOAT KNOCKOUT TOURNAMENT RACE
BOATS
Small Boats (10 paddlers)
CATEGORIES
Open: Women, Men and Mixed Seniors, Masters and BCP.
Masters age groups: A 35-39 years, B 40-44 years, C 45-49 years, D 50-54 years, E 55-59 years, F 60-64 years, G 65-69 years, H 70-74 years, I ≥ 75 years.
The BCP (Breast Cancer Paddler) category, an all-female crew, can contain a maximum of 4 supporters (women who have not undergone breast cancer surgery). There are no age distinctions in the crews. Helmspersons and drummers may be in different categories (men included).

RACECOURSE
The Dragonboat 2000 m racecourse is between the Vittorio Emanuele I bridge (Murazzi) and the buoy near the Società Canottieri Armida (upstream of the Umberto I bridge). The departure is upstream, and the arrival is in front of the Circolo Amici del Fiume.
The Dragonboat 200 m racecourse is upstream between the Vittorio Emanuele I (Murazzi) I bridge, with the finish line in front of the Circolo Amici del Fiume.
DISTANCE
200 metres and 2000 metres.
ENTRY FEE
€150 for each registered boat. The registration fee will entitle you to participate in both races and includes boat rental. Each team must provide its own paddles and life jackets, which will not be made available by the organization (upon justified request and based on availability, the organization may consider loaning paddles and/or life jackets). Teams wishing to bring their boat can contact the organization to define the details.
If the crew does not have a coxswain and/or drummer, the organization will provide them.

WITHDRAWALS

The withdrawal deadline is at midnight on October 22nd, 2024. Only on-time withdrawals will be refunded.
REGISTRATION
Saturday, October 26th 2024, from 9:30 to 10:30; the venue is the Club ”Circolo Amici del Fiume” registration office.
RACES
Saturday, October 26th 11.30 am Dragonboat 2000m
Saturday, October 26th, 3 pm Dragonboat 200m
The competition program will be confirmed by email to the registered companies after the registration deadline.
TEAM COLOURS
The crews must wear the club uniform during the races and the awards ceremonies. Advertising on uniforms is permitted.
PRIZEGIVING
There will be medals for the first three finishers of each race.
ANTIDOPING
Antidoping control may / will be undertaken by NADO–Italia or by Ministero della Salute during the event.
Antidoping inspectors may / will be present, applying National antidoping rules and laws.
